This is our first year at FFM. Our boys (ages 3 1/2 and 5) have grown tremendously this year and enjoy going to school every day. We have been blown away with the curriculum, Montessori learning environment and incredible teachers. Not only are they learning so much but they are having so much fun doing it. I could not recommend First Friends Montessori more.
All three of my kids went to First Friends with my little one still going here. It's an amazing place for the kids to be who they are and learn at their own pace!! My little one was a completely different child 7 months ago when she started. No eye contact. Hiding behind me. She was scarred of anyone who was not me. I was nervous about bringing her to school and how she would be. I was not surprised that she needed a looot of time to get used to her new environment and thankfully to the montessori way, she was able to take all the time she needed. At the beginning she attached herself to Mrs Ann-Marie, wouldn't touch snacks and wouldn't participate. But, thankfully to these amazing teachers and the sweet other students, she has done a full 180. You should see her now. She made friends. She is participating in circle time, sings songs and identifies letters and numbers. She is now staying for lunch twice a week. AND, she sang loud and clear during their year end concert. She finally came out of her shell thanks to First Friends and we are excited to see what the next two years are going to bring. The teachers truly care about each student and work with each family independently if any help is needed. This is an amazing place for little ones to learn and grow.
