My son went to Pierside for a year for his preschool. We had an exceptional experience! The school its self is very nice, multiple playgrounds, gardens that the children get to plant different seeds and watch grow, large classrooms each with their own bathroom. The school is decorated with a fun ocean theme that helps it feel more inviting for the kids. Now the staff is what I think really makes Pierside stand out. From the director to the teachers, the aids all the support staff. They all have many years of experience and it shows! They care for the kids and support them in every aspect. They are the reason my son was able to overcome his fear of school which put me at ease as well. It is critical that child’s fist experience at school is a good one. They absolutely set the frame work for my son to succeed as he moved on to TK at his sister’s public school. If it weren’t for Ms Washington and the other amazing staff at Pierside, I can confidently say he wouldn’t have been as well prepared or excited for this new school year!
