We have been visiting this church off and on for years. Something has always held us back from joining. This isn’t the most friendly and welcoming church. If you have money, they welcome you with open arms, or if you hold a local political position. Visited a new church this morning and it opened my eyes just how unchristian First Baptist really is.
Excellent church! Promotes community involvement, spiritual growth of both children and adults, the keeping and the preaching of the Word, and making connections through Life and Home Groups. Two services are offered Sunday mornings : Traditional and Contemporary. Praise and worship are excellent. Lots of opportunities to get involved. I love attending FBC-Benton.
I have asked this church to hold a memorial service for my young son that passed away, I couldn't believe when we were tur.edn down it was no pastor they said to hold a 15 minutes service they have five pastors but none of them was available what type of church is that a fake one that's what it looks like I will never go back to the church again.
Went to see Gaither Vocal Band. It was great. I just didn't like having to stand in line for so long on an incline, I am a senior citizen and that's was a little hard
I did not actually go here. I had read an email of a missionary couple in Kampala, Africa. I had wanted to help them out with a mission project, so a friend who goes there set me up with their Missions Pastor who told me how to help them. This s a Baptist Church and it looks like they have a choir. Many churches hae gotten away frim choirs due to the "pandemic". So if you live in the Benton, Ar. area, I suggest you stop in to worship with them. Call their office or google them for worship service hours!
