First Baptist is a wonderful church home! There are activities for all ages. It is a growing multi-cultural community. The pastor teaches the Bible without apology. I highly recommend this church. There used to be also a private school. Both of my children attended this school. It was a wonderful foundation for them.
We were looking for a church that truly teaches the Word, and Pastor Tim has definitely done that. FBCD offers Bible studies and activities that keep you engaged in scripture and connected to a strong, supportive community. Our family has really enjoyed being a part of this church it’s a place where you’ll feel like you truly belong and can grow in your faith.
I’ve been a member for a long time and I continue to be blessed by the people who gather to worship the Lord and serve each other here. My 6 children consider FBC a second home and I am so thankful for the community that pours into them here. JOIN US, anyone!!!!
This was about 12 years ago but the FCA from this Church we're inviting people to meet former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan we paid $500 because of all in the description they promise that we were going to take individual pictures with Matt Ryan and everything like that. Everything was a lie just like a political lie that night. They did not keep their promise like they said and they described it. And I gave them my picture that we took me and my family with Matt Ryan for him to sign a person like they promise on the bulletin description. And we never got our picture back signed by him. And then Mr Steve camp was supposed to be helping us with that and at the very end he kind of gave up on it. And he wants add me on Facebook to be friends and everything and when that issue wasn't being resolved he decided to block me instead of trying to resolve it. That gets to show you the lack of faith of promising especially in a Christian group which I was very disappointed. That's why I never make any promises with faith and Christianity words because if you're not going to keep your promise of what you promised don't make any promises. Very disappointing just like political parties.
