My family and I were attending a Baptist Church in our home town but unfortunately it was "clicky" and some of the teachers engaged in gossip, spreading rumors, etc. My goodness, what a difference Alvarado First Baptist Church is! Everyone is so loving and caring towards one another. In other words, this church not only talks the Talk, but they walk the Walk. We officially became members last weekend and we are so glad we found this church!
We’ve had the absolute best experience with First Baptist Daycare in Alvarado! From day one, the staff and director have gone above and beyond to make our family feel supported and welcomed. They’re incredibly accommodating when needed, and the open line of communication is something I truly value as a parent. My daughter looks forward to going every day—she adores the staff and always comes home happy. As a working parent, I’m especially grateful for the flexibility they provide our family. It has truly made all the difference. We are so thankful! Thank You First Baptist Daycare!
This daycare is a true gem! The teachers are incredibly attentive and loving, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere for the children. As a Christian-based center, it aligns perfectly with our family's values. The facility is impeccably clean and well-organized. I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to any parent seeking a nurturing, faith-filled environment for their kids. I can't imagine entrusting my child to any other place!
I fully trust and appreciate the staff who work really hard to care for all the children in daycare. Very happy with the quality of care and attention my family receives. ♥️
To say I am deeply disappointed in this daycare is an understatement. I am beyond frustrated that on more than one occasion this daycare has failed my children in numerous ways. 1st they single out young children based on hearsay from other children without justification and when you stand up for your child(ren) your words fall on def ears. They pick and choose who to PUNISH according to there own bias opinions. They DO NOT HOLD EVERYONE TO THE SAME STANDARDS. Staff children are allowed special treatment while infront of other children. When dropping off my children we are told one set of rules whiles other children are allowed to do the same thing we are told NO to. Each time any incident has happened in regards to my child(ren) I have ASKED to be notified, but for some reason I am always the last person to know what is happening with my own child(ren). I have never been offered any kind of documentation letting me know that my child(ren) are having an issue. Color me super confused....how can I fix a problem that I am unaware of? I am the type of parent that is very involved with my child(ren) and though they are young, they are held accountable for there actions. This CHRISTIAN DAYCARE will make your child(ren) hate going to school/daycare. I have never seen kind of curriculum done in the year my child(ren) have been there even though they state they do them. I believe this shows a lack of leadership and classroom management. When a young child(ren) are bored they tend to act out and at this center they can't be allowed to have emotions without fear of retaliation. I Again do not feel this is a good environment for child(ren). I have personally witnessed many licensing violations per the state of TX and they dont even abide by minimum standards. They combine children of all ages (infants up to schoolers) and do not allow them things to do but instead sit them infront of a TV to watch movies. When younger children hit, bites, pinch or scratch older kids nothing is done to advocate for the older child(ren) because a baby is a baby and can do whatever to anyone (again, holding certain children to a higher standard than others baised on personal preferences). The communication between staff and parents is completely nonexistent. Its sad that the parents in Alvarado are only given two options for childcare to start with and then to be mistreated by a so called CHRISTIAN DAYCARE, is beyond me. If you want a loving, healthy environment thats developmentally appreciate for your child(ren) your WILL NOT GET IT HERE.
