What Parents Say
Most parents praise FBCC CDC as a warm, family-oriented facility with loving staff, strong parent communication, and quality developmental and emotional learning opportunities. However, one parent reported serious concerns about staff attitudes, administrative responsiveness, and unprofessional conduct by an employee.
As a transplant to the area without a traditional family “village” nearby, FBCC CDC has truly become part of our village. I can say with complete confidence that the children are deeply loved, well cared for, and genuinely nurtured here. FBCC CDC is a true family environment in every sense of the word. I am constantly (and happily) surprised by how much the kids are learning at such a young age — from critical developmental skills to social and emotional growth. I especially appreciate the emphasis on outdoor time and nature, the strong focus on community, and the incredible support they provide to us as parents. We are in daily, open communication with both the teachers and administrators. They always have a pulse on exactly what’s going on with the kids, and I’ve personally learned so much from them along the way. The level of care, attention, and partnership with parents is exceptional. I also love that while First Baptist may be in the name, this is a truly inclusive, heart-centered program. The school thoughtfully celebrates many different religious holidays and cultures, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all families. After attending two other daycare centers and doing extensive research on childcare costs in the area, I find FBCC CDC’s pricing to be very fair — especially given the quality of care. I also deeply appreciate that this is not a large corporate or private-equity-owned center, but a place genuinely dedicated to serving, loving, and helping children grow until they move on to their next adventure. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the FBCC CDC family. I highly recommend coming to do a tour and seeing if it’s the right place for your family!
My family found FBCC CDC through a friend. We've also recommended it to friends who have joined. From the start it's been a warm, welcoming center. When your children are excited to see a caregiver and embrace them like family, I take it as a good sign. The staff works tirelessly to create a positive environment. Their school hours and meals are an ideal fit for our family. Once our oldest was accepted to a Spanish Immersion school, the caregivers were able to use their Spanish skills to prepare our child with basic words and phrases. Now with the launch of their dual language program, our youngest can similarly be taught ahead of joining an Immersion school. Lastly, we've enjoyed the wonderful cultural and holiday festivities they host year round as part of their community engagement. Schedule a tour and see firsthand the enchantment that is FBCC CDC!
We have had an incredible experience at FBCCCDC. All of the teachers are so loving and our children have learned so much and grown immensely.
My experience here has been horrible. Most of the teachers have horrible attitudes and the director there is so lost & confused about everything. She can NEVER give a straight forward answer to anything. Also there is one teacher that’s I always see just smoking right in front of the school. I’ve brought this issue to admin twice already and nothing has been done. Do not send your child to this school.
The school is working hard at being better! Everyone is growing and learning. This school is a great place to send your children.
