First Baptist Church Of Bay Minette

My daughter in law went to drop her toddler off at the daycare center today. She was turned away because she was 10 minutes late. She was stunned and taken aback. Her children have gone there for 3 years. She has donated 2 brand new recliners, and paid out of her pocket for 1 recliner for 1 of the staff members because she is going through a hard time. She also donated a very expensive baby swing that she could have sold for at least $300.00. But no, she thought it would be more needed and appreciated at the day care program. She has fed staff numerous times because they work hard and fulfill a need in our community. She was heartbroken and devastated that she was turned away today. I believe they could have shown some grace, and told that they would no longer accept children after 9:00 am instead of making an example of this day and refusing to accept her children. It's very disappointing after all she has done, and how long her children have been in this program. It could have jeopardized her job if I hadn't been available. "Do better" First Baptist Church" day care.

I am always apprehensive about attending a large church. I'm usually a smaller church type person. I will admit that for a large church that it greatly surprised me. There is a very strong sense of community here. Everyone that I have met here are all greatly involved in the church and all of its wonderful ministries. The performance by the First Baptist Church Choir is completely amazing. I love to sing at church, but this was different. I found it so beautiful that I caught myself just wanting to listen and enjoy the peace it brought to me hear God being praised so amazingly and beautifully. The Sunday School classes that they offer here covers any preference that you can imagine from the children's classes all the way to the various adult classes as well. I was very, very grateful that the lessons covered by their classes teaches the same criteria to children, in their own understanding, as well as it teaches the adults. That is a togetherness unrivaled by my experiences up til now. Like I previously stated, at First Baptist Church everyone is on the same page so to speak. I love learning about God. This is a great place to gain more knowledge about "The Rock" in my life. This is a true home for building on and creating the perfect foundation.

First time attending this church as we have just moved here. Have visited other churches and were well received. No one even spoke to us. Not a single person would look us in the eye. It was the coldest spiritually that I have ever been in and I have been a Baptist all my life and presently a member of a First Baptist in another city. Music was beautiful, Will not go back however. Do not recommend at all!

No I’m not a local and my family is not from here. I liked it. You get out what you put into your church life. This one really will let you into the family if you choose to be active and take part in it. Good people here too. Everyone’s genuine and they have your best interest at heart if you open up.

What can I say First Baptist Church of Bay Minette is a wonderful community church. Their service is always filled with a great message that contains many levels of inspiration. The choir is pretty awesome too...
