In town visiting family... Sadly, preaching we heard was self-help - not Christ focused - and essentially gospel-less. Sunday school was 45 minutes of talk about football games and surgeries, & 15 minutes of sentimental biblical rambling. Fit many of the worst stereotypes of a small town Bible Belt church…. I mentioned concerns to the senior pastor - as I seemingly providentially bumped into him in foyer - and he looked completely disinterested. Presently I serve as an elder at an SBC affiliated church in Florida. Saddened.

Great place, where God's Word is preached without reservation, and different opportunities for worship and Bible teaching for all ages as well! I enjoy attending FBC very much!
