How can I thank Barbara and the Pastor for their kindness towards me? They've been extremely helpful during my struggles. After sharing my situation with him, he was very understanding. They've given me thoughtful gifts during holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. The church is always supportive when I need it and responsive to my requests. Given that I don't have family nearby, their help has been beyond what I expected. One instance that stands out is when they gave me a battery charger knowing I had to conserve gas. I believe their help shouldn't be repaid but rather passed on to others. I'm grateful to First Baptist Church and its staff for their friendliness. The pastor's assistance with gas and medication, especially after my hospital visit, was incredible. His willingness to help was more than anyone else's. Thank you. I really love you guys.
First Baptist Church of key largo is a really good church. When I lived in key largo passing Charles is a good pastor and knows what he's talking about. He don't judge anybody and welcomes all people.
The kitchen crew who prepare meals for those in need do a great job. I've had the pleasure of working with them. They put their hearts in it. Very caring and loving folks. I was proud to be apart of what they do for our community, Ralph Pratt Pastor of Key Largo Christian Center of Hibiscus Park.
We found a pearl in Key Largo.... 1st Baptist Church. Visiting the area for 3 weeks and looking to feed our souls. The people are very welcoming... about 180 in the service, all ages. Music was great...11 people on worship team. Popular worship songs, we felt at home. Pastor Charles Rosenbalm was very engaging the message was bible-based, in-depth, with practical take-aways. with well-placed humor. We will go again, highly recommend 1st Baptist Key Largo, check it out!
My husband & I currently live in Tavernier. We've lived in the upper Keys since August 2018 & plan to stay the majority of 2019. Being away from our home for such a long period of time has been difficult & this church family has comforted us in many ways! The preacher is very uplifting & even comical at times! The members have made us feel welcomed & we plan to continue attending until we return home.
