This was our second time to come here. My kids love it. And said they love how the teachers reach the lesson. They are 8&9. My 4 year old loved it too. Even my 9 Year old noticed and made the comment, about how everyone was so nice. And everyone that we walked past said hello, with a smile on their face. The song service on 12-14 and sermon were amazing. God really spoke to me personally. And my husband got in the car and stated that the sermon and song service spoke to him as well. We tried out the modern service both times.

Teachers are awesome, the front desk is very helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better preschool.

The Child Development Center at First Baptist has been a such an incredible blessing to my children and family. My daughter started here full time at 2. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff that work there. They are wonderful communicators from the Office Staff, Directors, and Teachers. I have always felt that they are a support to me, partnering with me to ensure my child is successful! They are fully invested in each child at the center helping them to grow not only academically but as a person. They go above and beyond to provide quality care and make sure every child feels loved. They provide so many wonderful, fun experiences and I cannot imagine taking my child anywhere else. From an educator standpoint, kindergarten teachers always say how well prepared the children from First Baptist are and how they are ready for kinder. If you are looking for a place for your child to feel loved, cared for, grow, learn about the love of God and be a part of an incredible community - look no further!

All 3 of my children have gone through First Baptist Burleson’s daycare, and it has been such a blessing for our family. I put my youngest daughter on the waiting list for the full time program at birth! I have experienced other programs with my older boys, good programs, but nothing compares to here. Everyone knows my daughter’s name as she walks down the hall. The teachers are kind and go above and beyond for the kids. I have never encountered a problem or issue that hasn’t been quickly, kindly, and fairly addressed, with any of my children. This program is a ministry, in the truest sense of the word. I recommended it to anyone who asks!

My child has been at the daycare for about 2 months. We were actively getting him help with therapy and medication. Unless your child is a “fit the mold” child I don’t recommend them. His teacher Ms. Susan was a very good teacher to him and he did make progress with her . However the afternoon teacher barely even spoke nor would ever greet him happily . She would not greet our child upon arrival and would just stare at us on the occasion of picking up and dropping off. It felt awkward even for me as a parent. Also she would give multiple writes up and nor did we ever see her provide positive things ever to say to or about our child (happy, healthy 4 year old boy). We would get multiple right ups a day with no ideas or suggestions of things to try and help our child to learn to adjust. We were told it’s basically hard to find another afternoon teacher and she is the only one. Also we were told running was a safety issue but not told it was a 3 strike thing until we were at the point already. We requested if they could hold our child’s hand to help train him and were advised by the director he should have learned that at age 2-3. Which he was not in attendance a this daycare during that time period. Also we never even met the head director of the daycare until we were in the meeting for our child being kicked out after being there for about 2 months. She advised she is not typically there during the times parents pickup and drop off. I found that odd for a daycare director. When we first toured with the office manager we expressed our child’s struggles and we’re lead to believe they were a daycare willing to help train and assist children who has a hard time adjusting until he builds a good relationship. That it takes nearly months to be kicked out. Not the case. Also we were told that multiple parents had requested their child to be moved and that apparently floater teachers don’t even want to be in the room with our child. I found this disturbing as he is only a 4 year old boy and they are a daycare. Our doctor has suggested he might have adhd and we are working on that with our doctor. The only other office staff I could say something about was MS Madison. She did greet our child and was kind to him during our encounters. If your child has any struggles I 100% don’t recommend this daycare.
