We love visiting this warm and welcoming church when we are visiting Blowing Rock. The worship is just wonderful. The sermons truly teach and minister to my Spirit! The kids church is great too!
Empty on a Monday. Came to drop Helene donations. Neither this church, American Legion, Fire Dept. or Chamber of Commerce in Blowing Rock wanted Winston-Salem's donations. Finally went to Lenoir and a different Baptist church took them.
It wasn't so much the building or the people there, but why I went & with whom. I was starting to date this girl that lives in the amazing little mtn. Town. Spent Saturday evening with her, slept on her couch. Next morning got up had breakfast and we walked a couple blocks to the church. Service was on Fathers day & it was good. At 55 yrs old it was the first time I walked to church holding a girls hand at went to church for a date!
This is our church away from home. We look forward to visiting this church when we are in Blowing Rock. We always find a riendly congregation, uplifting music and sound biblical messages.
I always get fed by Pastor Gunther 's amazing sermons and the love and fellowship of my fellow members. I am always excited to get up and get ready!
