First Baptist Church Child Care Center

Very welcoming, we go to a different church, but came to watch our daughter perform with the Eldon Upper Elementary School children choir. Every festive. Merry Christmas

So. My father in law was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. Starts chemo this week. Because of that. We reached out to our local church down the road. First Baptist across from the car wash. We inquired about the parking lot they have. It’s separate from the church across the street. Only used on sundays. So we followed up with the pastor. Asking if we could utilize the parking lot through the week with our food truck so we had a solid spot to raise money for my Father in law. After multiple excuses that had 0 weight like “oh it might make other trailers want to park there and we don’t want that”. The church dismissed us and did not care to help us raise money with no legitimate reason. He didn’t say we’ll pray for you. I’m sorry to hear that. Was quite a cold gentlemen actually. I tell you what. Over the years. Our churches have become judge mental, inconsiderate finger pointers who are here to ridicule you and take your money during offering. In no way being disrespectful. But our churches are not what they use to be. That’s why I worship at home. Seems they only truly help when it benefits themselves. Disappointed in this church.

This has been a great place for us to call our church home. No church is perfect, because it's made of imperfect people, but thankfully Jesus is perfect and we seek to worship Him. If you're looking for a church we welcome you to come and would be honored to have you join us.

Was there for the Lake Area Orchestra's performance. The church was very clean and all of the people that I met were very polite.
