I was really impressed how organized and how sensitive the pastor was to make clear “church culture” to outsiders. The message was very clear and organized and even in the midst of a medical emergency of a participant during the church service, everything was handled in a professional and loving way. I am also thankful the pastor gave a clear invitation for salvation at the end of the sermon. He was also available for us to meet at the end of the service . A fun bonus on Sunday before Christmas, a live nativity and petting zoo!

Pastor Thomas West has nearly ruined this church. He lied to the choir when he asked them to get rid of choir robes for a season, then never allowed them back at the date he said they would be brought back. He has destroyed the great choir this church has and the traditional music with a loving choir family that helped me decide to join this church along with the loving Pastor we had at the time Frank Lewis. Blended services can work but not the way they are doing it at this church. The contemporary style service should have been a priority to keep going. They simply could have been held at 2 different times. You only need one worship leader in a service now you are combining 2 people. This is not even a good blended type style. People came from the suburbs to be able to have a musical worship style of traditional and with an amazing premiere organist, Ken Varner that you let go last fall. Pastor West came to this church with a clear agenda to shake everything up and has succeeded, I understand sometimes some changes need to be make for growth but combining the 2 services was a HUGE mistake. You have lost numerous people from both areas that were growing it’s now wonder the budget of the church is so reliant on the profit of their downtown parking lot. I pray whatever powers that be see the destruction Pastor Thomas as made and the poor decisions are obvious. It’s heartbreaking.

This is a hard one. I used to love it here. Then a group of people ran off a great pastor and brought in a guy I will never listen to again. He immediately made a lot of changes I hate and I keep running into people who say "we quit going to the main service, we only go to Sunday school now". So a handful of people destroyed a great thing and we had no say. I can't find a church anywhere. At this point I'm looking entirely outside of my religion just for some kind of fellowship. I promised the Catholics not to nail anything to their doors. Not changing my beliefs, just the new guy is visibly...not full of the Spirit. I will be ending my membership.

Loved the recital of six grand pianos. Got the whole family in the Christmas spirit. We felt very welcome and will be sure to try out a Sunday service.
