My kids are in the PreK and 2s class and we absolutely love Fire House Kids Wax. They went from being fully at home to quickly transitioning to full time care. Miss Olympia and Miss Ashley have been so helpful, patient and kind. But really all of the teachers make work together to care for the kids! We appreciate them all!

Family oriented daycare. They love your kids and also are very stern and assertive. Kids need to learn discipline and empathy which they all teach here at Firehouse. The director, Ms Annie, is amazing and is very good at communicating. I recommend this place over ANY daycare in Waxahachie. If you have any issues with how things are going, Ms Annie will always find a way to make things work. They don’t ever treat kids like they’re products. They love those kids as if they were their own. I’ve had to switch to so many daycares for my kids but once I took them here, it became our home daycare. I’ve also enrolled my niece here and she absolutely loves it here. Please visit Firehouse Kids if you’re looking for a good daycare for your children.

The director of the facility is not only rude but also unprofessional, uneducated and unfit to lead effectively. The staff is neither proficient in early child development nor adequate to a level of acceptable behavior. They follow the leadership of the director, although some are not completely in agreement with her yet silent compliance is the same as vocal inapdtness. After only a few weeks of attending this place, my daughter went backwards in potty training, had nightmares that caused her to cry at night and displayed acts of physical violence. All of which was not present prior to her attending this facility.

Firehouse staff and ownership has been amazing! All of my kids are here and I love the little prayer they learned to say over their meal. They are loving and good at correcting when children act up. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking in Ellis County!

I’m really happy with the care provided but I’m VERY upset and disappointed in whoever’s decision it was to get rid of Mrs. Olympia. She has never once given me any reason of concern and I’m surprised and appalled that this sprung off of a misunderstanding off of a Facebook group for Waxahachie. I would love to speak with the owner or whoever decided this should I get the opportunity. They made a huge mistake and I’m surprised that a “faith based” program could operate in such a cutthroat way.
