What Parents Say
This location appears to be an immigration/citizenship services office rather than a daycare center. Reviews praise the professional and friendly staff, efficient processing despite long wait times, and secure facilities. The main complaints involve long queues, limited seating, and security procedures.
I had a very frustrating experience with the security guards outside Federal Plaza. After my oath ceremony, I was instructed to come as soon as possible to have a new photo taken inside the building for my Certificate of Naturalization. When I arrived, it was extremely cold. I showed the letter to two security guards outside, but they refused to let me in and insisted that I needed to get a photo taken at a nearby photo studio. I repeatedly explained that I was supposed to be photographed inside the building, but they would not listen. Because of their incorrect instructions, I had to walk in the cold to find a photo studio and spent money on a photo that turned out to be completely unnecessary as I expected, because I got my photo taken inside. Only after that they allow me to enter. This was a waste of time and money caused by the guards’ lack of knowledge and poor communication. Please perform your duties more professionally and assist visitors correctly!
Opened back August 2020 with restrictions enforced on number of people inside. Entrance from Worth Street. There is a queue and you are only allowed entering if your appointment time is near so really no point to arrive too early as you have to wait outside. After security check and inside building cab a little bit confusing where to go. Check your appointment document for numbers like 7-700 that means take an elevator to the 7th floor look for room number 700.
Building open at 7 am. They didn’t update open time after Covid. Security doesn’t follow citizenship interview scheduled time but go there as early as possible because you’ve to wait on the line for a very long time. First comer get the interview first.
Without reason apoitments cancelation, very slow service. Very hard to get INFOPASS apoitment through web page. . .terrible place.
This will probably be my first and only review of any googled place. For immigration purposes, show up early. Even if your so called “appointment” is at 3 pm, show up at 9 am. Furthermore, don’t take any comments or attitudes from the -security staff- personal. This is a Federal building and they are not required to be jolly and happy. Lastly, be polite and assertive. In any case they will be here everyday, slowly cementing themselves to their chairs while you, hopefully, never have to come back. — I hope this helps and good luck getting your citizenship —
