Every child is different, and after a short period of time we realized our son needed a different type of environment than his former school could offer. From the moment we joined Farm and Nature Discovery School, we felt the difference. Our son feels safe, encouraged, and excited to learn; that has meant alot to our family. We’re very thankful to have found an environment where he feels understood and supported. We truly appreciate the care and dedication from the teachers and director. They're attentive, compassionate, and responsive. We highly recommend this school to families seeking a nurturing environment.
The Farm & Nature School has made an immense impact on my daughter’s development, learning, curiosity, social skills, and so much more. The teachers are so patient and truly love each child. You can tell they are passionate about creating an environment that helps shape the child’s school experience into something deep, meaningful, and safe. I highly recommend this school as a pediatric occupational therapist as I notice the sensory foundations they weave into their curriculum for true learning (from a bottom up approach). They focus their learning approach on co-regulation and connection both through human interaction and nature experience. We will be sending our youngest to this school when she is old enough! I wish we could go to this school for elementary too!
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our kiddo to The Farm & Nature Discovery School. From the very beginning, it’s been clear how thoughtfully designed this school is for young children. The outdoor, nature-based environment has been incredible for my daughter’s confidence, curiosity, and independence. She is absolutely thriving — socially, emotionally, and academically — and comes home excited to share what she’s learned each day. The school sends photos from the school day to the app that you can share with your kiddo and talk about what they did that day, makes dinner so fun! Watching my daughter grow in this setting has been such a gift. We’re so grateful to be part of a school that values hands-on learning, exploration, and genuine connection to nature. I would highly recommend to any family looking for a warm, enriching, and developmentally appropriate early childhood experience.
Our son has been going to the Farm school since 2024 when he was in PreK3; we were so nervous since he had always just been at home previously and didn’t know how he would adapt to a school environment, but after the very first day of school, he was already loving it ❤️ The teachers and staff became some of his favorite people, and he always looked forward to going to school. We love that he gets to learn and explore and play outside, and the setting was a perfect environment for him. The many activities that he gets to partake in, like the Barn Dance, school parties, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Live Nativity, special Mothers Day party; etc, are all so wonderful and we love to see him thrive there! Everyone is so kind, and we feel so good knowing that he goes to school at a wonderful place like the Farm. When our younger babies become of age, they will also be going to the Farm! We could not be happier with how much our son loves his school and teachers, and I love to see his daily photos of the fun adventures they go on everyday, along with learning in class. Definitely a fantastic school and so grateful we are a part of it ❤️
We are so incredibly happy that we chose to send our son to this school. This was his first experience with school and we wanted it to be a positive experience for him, and this school has been such a blessing to all of us! He looks forward to coming to school every day and is always so excited about all of the fun things they get to do at school! The teachers and staff have been so wonderful!! I see how kind, patient, and loving they are to my son, and it is such a relief as a parent to know when I drop him off at school, he is in the best hands. As a former teacher myself, I truly appreciate how well run this school is. The nature based play is such a great experience for him, and he looks forward to going outside and exploring…where they are not only allowed to, but encouraged to get messy, jump in puddles, and have fun! I love that he is surrounded by nature and gets to experience taking care of animals. These are all things he wouldn’t be getting at a traditional school. It’s truly a wonderful community. I only wish they had elementary school as well!!
