The new staff and management are great. I love working with the new property manager. The older lady and also the leasing staff is great. I think Mr. Sadie nervous is bad but overall the property has came a long way and it looks great love the lighting and and how quick The maintenance staff are great with getting work orders done and fixing things properly. They do a great job overall in the last month I can see the change in the property and how clean it is now I would love for the gate to be fixed. That would be a major plus to the property. But overall, y’all are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
Mr. Abed is awesome especially with my situation not being paid on time with my job. My job always late with our pay which makes me late with my rent. I'm so grateful that they work with me and they understand what I'm facing. I'm so glad that management empathetic about my issue. The new owners understand my issue with my work. They "Walk the Walk not just Talk the Talk" I know this is a long review, but you need to know how it was to understand how it is. Mass has lived at the Kenridge complex since 2007. He has seen many management company change overs. Each of them “talked the talk”. Not a one “walked the walk”. There was no or very little response to safety or maintenance requests. There was Non-compliance to previous management company’s lease agreement, after all, it was not their lease agreement. Always some type of conflict. Always a problem talking to the office personnel. Each change brought words of hope, "we want to fix the problems, we are here for you, we want to make all this right". Yea, they were good at "talk the talk". I must say, Sandra of the previous management was able to have some items replaced or fixed, bugs in the “new” refrigerator, (no seal around the door), repair of main bedroom ceiling (water from roof leak, it was bulging, about to fall into the room). She was able, after months having discussions with management, to get his lease adhered to. She was unable to have the smoke detector put in, the broken steps fixed, or pest control to come. Yes, I previously gave her review, and I will stick to it. . . she was great. But the management company left a lot to be desired. On a Saturday visit, Mass handed me the notice of a new management company, R. J. Properties. GREAT, here we go again. I went down to the office. The gentleman gave me the same old "we want to help" speech. He had me send him, just as the other companies had asked for and received from me, maintenance requests I had previously submitted (some went back 5 years), and he assured me the current lease would be followed, “after all, it was a signed legal document”. Was this the same “talk the talk”? BOY, I was in for a surprise . That day Mass and I ran errands. When we returned the new maintenance personnel were checking the roof for leaks. The broken steps had already been repaired. All in less than 4 hours. A smoke detector, new carbon monoxide detector were installed and other problems were fixed by the end of the week. Safety was being addressed – lights were placed in the mailbox area and stairwells. Loiters were no longer around. No one was in the parking lot asking me for money. They are "Walk the Walk". And I want to give a BIG shout-out to Sawsan Nasser. She has been a gift from Heaven. She has been patient with me and my attitude of “here I go again”. And I did have an attitude. She was understanding, sympathetic, just plain old fashion friendly. She has things done in hours which had not been done in years. There was a problem with the previous management company and Mass's rent. All I had to do was provide proof of payment. Nothing else. No phone calls, no spreadsheets, not at all as it had been under past managements. She took the information and had it fixed in 3 days. The time I caused a problem at the complex, and it was definitely my fault, she provided me with the information and how to's I needed to correct it. She did not have to, it wasn't her job. She is just that kind of person. She has always had a smile and “what can I do to help”. Thank You R. J. Properties for hiring her. Yes, Kenridge under this new management is the place to go. They “Talk the Talk” and they “Walk the Walk”. There is still more to be done, but R J Properties is well on their way.
