My son is about to be 3 on 9/17/22. The school knew this and knew he has no experience with day care and this is the first to start preschool. They knew he was also high energy and needed to work on social skills and structure. I got an email from the Director a couple weeks before my son was going to start school asking if he could switch classes because another family wanted his spot. We said no. Now day of parent child day my son spent 1.5 hours in his classroom with his teachers and peers. Next day I get a call from the Director Mary stating she has concern for his speech and then questioned how he would do with pickup and drop-off time. I said fine and questioned her premature statementabout my son having a speech delay when she hasnt even spent anytime with him. I did scheduled a speech screening. She said we would see how his first day goes. I got no report on how his first day went. Day 2- I got an email with no concerns and a photo of Jayden. I asked the teacher how hes doing and they told me things they were working on and that it's only been day TWO. Mary then calls me this past Friday to say my son is not developmentally ready for school! She was kicking him out of the program. When I asked for first and last month tuition that they already charged me along with supply fees she said she wanted to keep last month fee because Jayden required extra staff for the TWO days he was in class. He was in class for 2.5 hours. Plus I was unaware of him needing extra staff. Jayden is the only minority in his classroom. I would give this school ZERO stars for not even giving my son a chance! They are not kind, patient, or experienced at all!
Our boys have been through 4 different preschools and Family Of Christ is our favorite! Amazing staff, great community events and engaging classrooms filled with tons of interactive toys and learning supplies. Plus it’s so valuable to have biblical principles taught to our young and very impressionable kiddos. Highly recommended!
Amazing place for worship!
The sanctuary is a multi purpose room. Plenty of volunteers to dismantle tables and set the chairs for worship. Huge gazebo for use as well as hallways around the multi purpose room. Huge bathrooms. I have been there for Wild Game Feed and Easter drama. Each room has a different Bible Story. People walk through the story of Jesus, death and Ressurection!
