After leaving a church of 22 years membership, I was advised to look for a church and congregation that spoke love and truth. The first sermon I heard at New Life was entitled, "Truth" and I found out that Truth is a Person! If you are searching for a 'home' for fellowship and to worship your Lord, one that is vibrant, alive and is a driven inter-generational church with fantastic music and more fantastic, in the Word, teaching, you will feel the Spirit the minute you walk into the sanctuary. What a breath of fresh air to talk with pastors who do not have their own agenda and who live truly Bible-based lives in word and in deed. i thank these pastors for never, ever compromising or watering down the message that needs spoken! Thank God for these men and women and the entire Body of Christ who made me feel a part 'of the fold' so quickly and so completely!
Me and my family were invited to this church by some friends who attend New Life regularly. It wasn't the church that left me disappointed. In fact, the people there are very kind and wonderful to be around! It was the head pastor Mark Adcock. I don't want this to be more embarrassing, because a few people that attend New Life know me, so I'm remaining anonymous. Mark seemed annoyed and unfriendly towards me when talking to him on several occasions; almost like he was thinking in his head "I don't care about this person, I don't want to talk to this person, I must be the one talking not them!" After talking to several people who attend New Life, I was convinced that it was not something wrong with me, but it is the way that a lot of people get treated by the pastor. I understand a pastor will never be perfect. None of us our, we all sin and fall short. My experience just left me shocked and disappointed. My prayers will be with New Life in this year. God can change anybody and I forgive the pastor completely.
Standing in The Gospel of Christ and God's Truth. A loving Body of Christ desire to walk with the Lord and share His love with everyone. A wonderful home to worship, praise and learn God's teachings.
Love it here. The Truth of God preached, shared and studied. Praise is fearless. People are wonderful. Active youth and teaching to children.
