This is probably the most welcoming LCMS church in Lorain county. My schedule and family commitments often have me away for weeks,but they always treat you like a family friend when you show up. Pastor David is friendly and probably goes out of his way more than most to make sure his people are doing well and that visitors are comfortable. He's a bit of a dork, but that's part of his charm and it works in well with his preaching. The congregation is easy to get along with for the most part. You'll find conflicts of personality if you really try to find them like any group, but everyone get along fairly well. I'd recommend visiting or making this your church 100 percent.
My experience with Faith Lutheran Church in Avon has been overwhelmingly positive. A great church family--very welcoming. In my opinion, Pastor Woolsey exemplifies the meaning of a true calling to the ministry. In addition to traditional and contemporary Sunday worship services, Faith Lutheran offers numerous opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship through Bible study, music, family-centered events such as the monthly family movie night and so much more.
This is my wife's church and I thought it would be mine but after being ignored and disrespected by pastor Dave and Mark Packer I have decided that this church is not a godly church.
