Initially coming to this church, I found the then pastor to be a very nice man, and in my mind he still is, but this church has a lot of flaws it needs to pick up. I feel it has strayed far from biblical values and traditions, and has made church a concert. Furthermore, congregation felt unintentional, and never developed a connection with them. The pastor, pastor Joe, who was very nice to me, is also too busy in my personal opinion, and I feel he is being pulled in too many places at too many times. While I am now a Catechumen in the Orthodox Church, having previously dabbled in other Protestant traditions, this church feels less like a Lutheran church and more like a non-denominational one. Nonetheless, I want to say that watching infants being baptized here has always been so beautiful.
We have attended Faith Lutheran Church for 25 years. It has been a blessing to our lives, marriage, and relationship with God to find a Bible-based church that provides numerous opportunities for families, men, women, couples, children, seniors, etc. ….. Everyone can find a group and activity to fit their needs.
A Place to Belong & Know Jesus. I grew up going to Faith, moved out of state for school, and came back to what I now as an adult truly embrace as my church HOME. The sermons at faith are timely and relevant to struggles of today and have really helped me to grow in my faith by leaning into my identity as a loved child of God with a good good Father in Heaven, a personal Savior in Jesus, and an advocate of the Holy Spirit within me. Our worship team is AMAZING! They are beyond musically talented and even write some of their own music. Worship and walking with Jesus has changed my life. I’m so grateful for this house of worship and community. Faith has classes and small groups for everyone to walk alongside you in your journey. The kids programs make learning about Faith fun! Excellent, the presence of God is breathed in this place. I went for the first time and they welcomed me very kindly. Despite not being fluent in English, I felt very good.
