My son and I have visited 3 Sundays. We are wanting to attend a liturgical church. The pastor seems to be a very "real" and kind man, and people attending were generally friendly. The stone garden, open to the public, would be a beautiful spot for prayer and meditation. We will continue to visit.
I know Faith Lutheran Church through Rev. Mark Wildermuth the pastor. We serve together on a board in the Knox County Community. Mark is a good leader and cares about his community beyond his vocational profession. Also, I have known several families in the past who have had their children attend the pre-school associated with the church. The Garden, located behind the church is a great place for outdoor wedding receptions as well.
I attended tonight because Brian Watson, our praise band leader was asked to do 1 of your summer music programs.
Aside from getting weird looks, my kid loves coming here to play.
