After 6-months on the waitlist for EvFree Preschool and Infant Program, we were contacted about a spot for our 6-month-old, only to be told later that the call was a mistake--they had intended to contact another family. Out of obligation, it seemed, they still offered us the spot. After three weeks, we were informed that "it isn't working" and were told that if our infant could learn to be consoled by the team within two days notice, she could stay. We withdrew her immediately. Throughout the experience, it felt as though we weren't wanted or accepted, and that our child wasn't seen in a positive light. I genuinely wanted to have a good experience here, so this was both surprising and disappointing. Any place that puts the responsibility back on an infant to adjust quickly, in my view, lacks accountability.
So thankful that my kids attended EV Free. Wonderful teachers, great program.
