Hello Dr. Evelyn Graves Family! I'm just reading about Dr. Graves departure to heaven and her accomplishments and legacy. My belated condolences to you all. The reason for this letter is to let the family know that I was saved at one of the Dr. Graves plays, entitled, "The Rapture" in 1975. It scared me so much that I went down to the alter and gave my life to the Lord at the age of fourteen. Sometimes fear is a good thing! From that evening I've never been the same. Even through life's challenges God has remained faithful to me and I to Him. So, now after also, acting in a couple of plays and writing plays for my church since 2003 til present, the Lord has blessed me this year to start my own production company! The name is Treasures of Pearls Production. I will be having my debut play, "Butterfly" September 30th! I also have a bachelor's degree, but not in theater. As was quoted in your article about Dr. Graves, my talent is "God sent". Lord willing in the future I would like to do screenplays! Reading this article I was inspired again!
