I have had my kids going here for the past 13 years. This place has became the most unprofessional childcare facility in the past year or so. The Director is on a power trip and her “boss” must be best friends since you cannot have a conversation about a problem you are having with the Director without her being on the phone call also. Used to be a Four-Star daycare now I wouldn’t even call it a Two-Star. The school age kids are forced to stay in the 3yo room half the time because they either don’t have enough teachers or enough kids. There must be a reason they are struggling to have enough kids or teachers. (Bad Director = bad environment).

Love this place and all of the teachers are great! I love the fact that they have a swimming pool... during the summer the kids get to swim and do a lot of fun activities. I love Evans! The only reason my daughter is no longer in this facility is because the after school YMCA program is more convenient. They helped us to potty train my daughter and her teacher even took a day off work to go with us to the doctor to get my daughters diagnosis for Autism. If that doesn't say something special then i dont know what will.

I have 3 children here, until my second one this place has been pretty good. My 5 yo and my 1 yo have done great here. My 4yo not so much. They do a pretty good job if your child is a 100% normal child. If your child has any form of disability or special needs I would look elsewhere. My slight special needs child did great in the younger classes, the problem started when he was moved up into the older classes. He had been in physical and occupational therapy since 18months old(which one of the teachers in the new born class helped us obtain) One of his therapists actually caught one teacher from the 2yo room screaming at him when she came to give him his session. We have met time and time again with them, one time in particular when his therapist attended the meeting to tell them what needed to be done with him. In this meeting we got told flat out that they did not have the time to do the things that needed to be done to assist him in getting to where he needs to be. After threatening removing all 3 kids we were told they would work on it and make sure they could provide for him. Fast forward to now, he is 4yo, he has had some aggressive behavior issues which requires a constant shadow at certain times. The pre-K program he goes to has all but eradicated these issues from their class. We have informed Evan's what they did to circumvent these issues, as requested, on several occasions, but continue to have issues, only there... we have have asked several times if he was too much to tell us and we would move our kids. Several times the answer was no, dont move them we can do it. But then the issues continued. Countless times the teachers have made him out to be a villain and have had poor attitudes about his troubles with potty training, and his reactions when he gets over stimulated and has an outburst. After the most recent event the daycare has decided to forgo their escalation of disciplinary action policy and tell us that we have two weeks to find him another daycare. After being asked if someone has been shadowing him like his pre-K class has done, we got a, no, we dont have the time nor the staff for that. From my observations, if the staff would spend a little less time sitting around talking to each other, playing on their cell phones, more time watching the kids and using the tools provided to them this would not be happening right now. So, if your kid is a "normal" self sufficient child, they will do great in the 2yo to school age classes, but if they have any kind of special needs or developmental delays I would not keep them there past the newborn/1yo class. We are not the only ones who have had to remove a child with "needs" from here.
