I love this daycare for my daughter! The teachers are amazing, kind and HARDWORKING. They update me on every little thing throughout theday, and also send pictures! My daughter is 7 months old. They have plenty of sensory activities, toys, COLOR, and they even sent her home with a calendar made from her footprints. (Which takes so much time) My daughter loves me and anytime she sees me she wants me to pick her up, but there have been a couple times she wanted to stay and keep playing, which means she loves it! I recommend this daycare to anyone who wants there child to have amazing teachers, lots of learning and play in a safe environment with people who take their workers, and students safety seriously. As well as their overall well being.

Our daughter has been attending Especially for Children - Inver Grove Heights since she was 8 months old - currently 15 months. The facility is very inviting and the teachers and directors are fantastic. The directors spend time assisting the teachers in the classroom and our daughter always has to stop by and give them a hug when going home for the day. The classrooms are large and the teachers are great at recognizing her needs and help push her development (e.g. going up/down stairs, sippy cup transition, sign language when eating, sharing, etc.). They do many lessons with the babies with themes like Earth week, reading month, picnic in the classroom, etc. Our daughter's favorite activity is arts and crafts - she is frequently painting or drawing something in the photographs sent in the app. We could never have given our daughter as many experiences as this fantastic facility has. I would highly recommend Especially for Children for caring for your children.

Everyone here is absolutely amazing and our soon to be 10 month old is excelling in everything! They do an excellent job with the kids and we have never had a problem with anyone here. Our daughter LOVES going to school and we get frequent updates throughout the day via their online app, which we love. I cannot recommend this facility enough. It is also VERY clean and the kids are exposed to new things daily, which is excellent for them in a critical stage in their lives. We have been so blessed to have our child watched at their center.

When my daughter turned 3, we were looking to transition from more of a daycare setting to a school setting but without all the up-tight, industrial feels of some new daycare/preschools. This is the perfect fit. My daughter’s been attending since October and I can’t share enough about how wonderful this place is. All the staff (and fellow parents) are kind, caring, and inclusive.

There are reasons for poor and limited number of reviews for this location and chain. Don't wait to find out why. We had 4 incidents with biting issues within a 2 month timespan, all on our child in the toddler room. We were simply told this is developmentally appropriate with no thoughtful or effective workflow on how to deal with the issue. We were told by management that there was nothing further to do. We had to ask for something to be done and had to give them suggestions without them really making a change. We were yelled at by a teacher for making her feel offended that we said we were angry about this reoccurring issue rather than being empathetic or any management helping this teacher. Once we notified them we were leaving, we noticed very few and brief language by management over email and felt like we were left to our own understanding of their handbook and rules. It felt so saddening for us to feel so de-valued and unheard when we trust them with babies. Noone should be OK with not being heard and treated this way anywhere, and these were all our reasons for ending our child's care there.
