In response to the below review, Ms. Hobby, you sent both of your children to Elka. We loved, educated, and cared for your children while they were here. Unfortunately, we had to let you go as a client of ours. You never brought your child to school with the items she needed for potty training, and proper clothing for weather conditions. You also never brought her to school on time, nor picked her up on time. I hope you can understand why we had to part ways.

I had a couple of god children going here. The preschool teacher was always making comments under her breath like "is it Friday yet". My God child was choked by a male peer with 2 teachers in the room that didn't see anything. Never let her go use the bathroom when she asked there for she was peeing on herself. Owner talks to people like they are beneath her. Some teachers were even accused of cursing at the children and hitting them. I definitely would NOT recommend this low class facility if you are in the area.

I recently saw a group of Elka kids at a Valparaiso playground on a ninety degree day. These poor kids were sweating and begging for water. But guess what, the staff were sipping on their drinks, telling these poor kids they didn’t bring anything to drink. After seeing this, I would strongly consider using a different child care company.

Will close daycare without advance notice. Will not try and soothe your baby will let cry. Ghetto. The director of program answers / explain her actions to teacher. When it should be the other way around. The only precessional person there was fired
