El Shaddai Christian Day Care Center II

Do not put your child in this daycare. I recently moved from nyc in August 2023 my daughter started this daycare in September up until January 17. I waited to write this review almost 2 months because i wanted to see how long it would take me to find a new daycare with space for my 2 year old and affordable. When my daughter first started this daycare 2 weeks straight she was crying and not eating used to pick her up and her eyes would be swollen from crying. Then it did get better. Long story short im not sure what happened Friday Jan13 my daughter was picked up by her Dad and with a scratch on her face and busted lip. I respectfully text Haydee to ask her if she can give me a call when she gets a chance. It didn't bother me that she had the cut i was just annoyed it wasn’t reported to me. I am aware that toddlers play move a lot get hurt and that does not bother me i just wanted it communicated to me. To get to the point i didn't get response i thought it was because it was after daycare hours. But i expected to get a text back at least letting me know to wait until Monday on daycare hours to speak on it. I ended up going in to drop her off Jan 17 and ask to speak to one of the owners. Haydee happens to come out. I told her oh i texted you Friday to see what happened with the baby but i didn't get a response. The lady got so defensive yelled at me saying your texting my personal phone i do not need yo respond if i don't want to its my phone. As soon as she spoke to me like this i got worried of what really happened to my baby. I was just trying to let her know that any little thing that happens to any kid in the daycare should communicated to the parents weather it does not give the child a mark on their skin or not then she yells telling me not to tell her to how to do her job. I also asked her to close daycare door because she was yelling while door was open and all the kids were looking at her she also said don’t tell her what to do. Then she told me i was making it up that she didn’t have a scratch didn’t want me to show her pictures. I always take pictures of my baby and so happens that that morning i took a picture of her and she didn’t have any scratches so i was able to compare but she did not want to see anything. She just decided to say you know what you can take your child and packed all my daughters stuff in a garbage bag like my daughter was garbage. I begged her crying telling her she didn’t have to do this. But then i realized i wouldn’t even want to leave my daughter here i don’t know what will happen next if i would let her continue to attend this daycare. But the way she just kicked me and my daughter out was so hurtful and unfair. She didn’t think of who would watch my daughter now, how would we work to bring home food to our daughter and a roof to our daughter with no child care. I cried so much i already moved to New Jersey not knowing anyone. For almost 2 months my husband and i searched for daycares. There will be days ill work he will stay home with her and days hell work and ill stay home with her. The worst experience of my life and do not wish it on anyone. Be very attentive if you place your children here. Im sure the good reviews are probably ppl they know who wrote it on here. Haydee is ver rude and aggressive speaking and her son is also horrible he is an older man and can’t speak for himself always needs his mother witch is Haydee. Now thank god my daughter has her second day at her new day care after almost 2 months and i can see her all day i get messages all day on her and she did not come home with swollen eyes. She even told me she has new friends. Theres way more i could of wrote on here but I honestly kept it short as long as you see this. If i can give this daycare a 0 or a negative or a close it down i will. I also reported her with the state and the state will go in and see cameras and see how she was towards me.

My daughter to this day says they had put a blanket over her head to quiet her down cause she couldn't stop crying for no reason. She says it was hard to breathe and that she kept crying cause she couldn't breathe easily since it was placed and tucked tightly by the man, which I assume is the owner or the manager of the place. He just kept telling her to shut up. She is 14 yrs old now and to this day she talks about how that happened to her. No use talking to the owners since it's been 11 yrs but be warned and yes I believe her cause she gave me details. Hopefully he isn't around to do it again to another child that cries because they having a hard time napping like the other kids. I'm sorry I gave this review but also not sorry at all.

This is one of the best daycares on the area. I have my son going there since he was 3 years old, his 5 now about to start school, and I have no complains about it. Great Teachers and VERY CLEAN.

The reason for the 3 star is because the morning staff was great! Then when it was time for pick-up a male staff member was very rude and tried to talk down to me. He does not pay me for my kids to go there, so I expect a little more respect then his nasty attitude.

They don’t know what there doing plus the Owner is horrible she does t know what she’s doing with a day care. Don’t treat kids well and instead of showing kids how to respect themselves and get along she actually make them see what they do wrong is ok and don’t accept them back to her daycare. WORST PLACE EVER 😡😰😰
