This school has been such an amazing experience for our family! My son absolutely loves coming to play with his friends at school. The playground is magical and the teachers and staff are so kind and caring. I feel so good leaving my son here and when I pick him up he’s having so much fun! You can tell from your child how a school is doing and my son is happy and wants to tell me all about all the wonderful things he learns. He also has made some awesome friends and the families that attend are great!
I love the outdoor play focus, and the novelty of the circle-time lessons. My toddler is well nurtured, is making close friends, and is learning every day. The communication is professional and quick with staff and teachers, I'm a happy mama indeed! Get on the waitlist but don't tell too many folks about this gem.
Both of my sons went to El Camino Preschool, and we had a great experience. The teachers are wonderful, attentive and clearly care about the children and their welfare. They teach a lot of independence, and respect of their peers. At the pre-school age, social maturity and independence is much more important than academics (in my opinion), so it's great that they stress those aspects of learning. We loved the atmosphere...homey, warm layout of the building, and the spacious play areas. The Pre-K class with Ms. Sharon is the class that both of my kids attended where they "took off" in their growth. She did a wonderful job with my boys and had them totally prepared for Kindergarten. Every day, both of my sons would come home from school talking about what a great day they had...never a bad day. We couldn't ask for anything more.
Taking my son here feels like taking him to a family - member's house. I couldn't be happier. It feels good to be able to go to work and not wonder if he's having a good time. The teachers there are genuinely caring and I've seen my son's development blossom with the style of programming they use that incorporates both learning and letting kids be kids at the same time. Highly recommend!
I had nothing but a wonderful experience at El Camino Preschool! Mrs. Tupu is incredible, her heart is truly all for the kids!!! Heike, the owner is on top of everything, although busy she is available anytime. My only reason for 4 stars is because I feel like the PreK curriculum could have been stronger, maybe it was my child, maybe not. The preschool is one of a kind, very organic play and my heart was happy knowing my daughter was happy here!!! I also appreciated that they didn’t ask a lot of parents to help out or donate items for holiday festivities. My son will be starting here this summer too!
