My child went to Educare in both the small and big kids sections. They were very good and helping my daughter with potty training when she was small and all the caregivers she had seemed kind and patient. She never had any complaints and always looked forward to preschool. I never saw or heard anything there that concerned me. They don't have a much of an academic focus which became more of an issue as she got older. If I could do it all over again, I'd still send her to Educare.
Educare is a phenomenal school that completely readies a child for kindergarten. They have great teachers who have been there for years & truly care about their work & their students. My twin daughters attended from 3 to 5 years old and were MORE than ready for kindergarten - both socially and academically. One side is the toddler side for ages 2-3 (not potty trained) at a 6 to 1 ratio. The other side is the preschool side for ages 3-5 at a 8 to 12 ratio. The girls received 2 healthy snacks & lunch cooked on-site, structured learning in the morning (reading, math, science, art & music), nap after lunch & semi-structured play in the afternoon (stations are set up for art or science, teachers read to students in the shade, teachers lead the students in games on the grassy area, etc). They loved the outside teachers once a week for music (part of normal week) & gymnastics (for an additional fee). Educare has a playground & sandbox on each side as well as a big, shady, fenced-in grass area where my girls LOVED to run & play ball & build with blocks & play dress up & listen to stories.
Both of my sons attended Educare. They started on the young kid side (under 3) and then transitioned to the bigger kid side. Both boys were potty trained with the help of Educare and their great staff! I cant say enough great things about Mrs Gemma and the schools approach to education. Special thank you to Miss Amalia, Haley, Melissa and Angel for all your help in educating, potty training and disciplining (when needed) Brysen and Ethan. Trish and I will miss you and we are forever thankful.
My granddaughters have been attending Educare since they were two. We love this place the Director and her staff is so loving and my girls got into every school we applied. I receive a lot of compliments regarding their letter recognition, social skills, cutting skills, etc., they are prepared for kindergarten. I highly recommend this center. Today is our last day and we are truly thankful.
My son attended this school 2 years ago. One day, i got there earlier than usual and watched one of the teachers abruptly stand up, walk over to my child, yank him up by the arm and forcifully shove him down in another spot on the ground. He was 3 years old at the time. It still haunts me to this day because i will never know how many times this happened. The excuse i was given didnt match what I saw. Please dont send you kid here.
