Very helpful and nice always friendly and I have to say if you have a disabled family member or are yourself handicap you can fill out assistance forms a month early. They help with energy assistance gas and electricity. Would recommend for anyone under disability who needs extra help. They also help keep our home from being shut off in winter months with a person with a life threatening illness, and no body temperature control it can be very scary. Total life saver!
Everyone faces hardships every once in a while. With my large sized family of six & currently struggling with painful health issue, I decided to apply for heating assistance. I was told December 1st before funds would be available. That was several weeks away but much to our surprise, shortly after filling out our application, we received an approval notice in the mail. Our home was able to be heated & our children were able to shed the blankets in this continuing cold weather thanks to the hard working volunteers/staff and their quick and efficient working hands. ♥️
I went there for help I was told I needed to sell my car and let the church people help take me around and they didn't look for any places for me that was low income they were looking at regular housing and they lied to me they did not tell me the truth about what program I was on but they did tell me they had a lot of programs for me and come to find out they only had one and they wasn't up front with it I wouldn't trust Economic Security as far as I can throw him and I can't throw them and one time I called and they said it's her and they didn't turn in all the information to the welfare office and they were even opening up my mail without my permission they only have permission to open up anything that was concerning my Medicaid and they opened up all my mail and held one piece of mail for 18 days before I even got it after they told me that they would give me my mail when I could use their address and they opened up all my mail and they scan it and send it to Gail at Economic Security and then they act like I gave them permission to open it and I didn't and their excuse was it helps my case it didn't help my case my information that they got was about Medicare Advantage in another state and about my bank changing my Rome account to perks account so none of that had anything to do with my case plus they kept all my bank statements that I gave them and never returned them and they didn't give me all the originals on my mail don't trust him
