Very, very disappointing and embarrassing Practices done by this company. Not only was my care coordinator un professional. She was also non-responsive and lied about submitting Requests for me to get certain resources like food from branches. I won't name her because she did help in some aspects. But I will name Shari who was her supervisor and this woman was completely un professional when I asked to leave the program and on the other occasioni spoke to her. She not only told me that every other program in Suffolk County is horrible and that I wouldn't get any help from them.( what an odd thing to say when i just yold you that your company has barely been helpful) She also proceeded to tell me that I needed to take a moment and think about it and then hung up the phone on me. This is not the first time I've had an interaction with this woman and she's been completely disrespectful. Not only did she call me a little girl when she spoke to me previously when my care coordinator was on vacation she refused to pick up food for me from branches because she claimed it was too far and then picked up food from a food center in Amityville and brought me moldy food and didn't even care. This woman honestly should be fired the way she talks to people and the way she conducts. Herself is absolutely disgusting. I am awaiting a call back from the assistant director so that I can properly speak to someone about how this woman treated me. The people saying 1 star or zero stars are telling the truth. Disgusting behavior seriously. I also called back and gave her a chance to apologize and she doubled down on everything she said. CRAZY
Have had 5 stars on here for last 8 years. Robert was in charge and they were responsive and very helpful. Now it seems they don't follow up on calls. I look at reviews and a few years back it was 5 🌟. Now less. Maybe based on experience i was expecting a better experience. But if you really need help they have good veterans programs. Hope that has not changed.
If I could give them ZERO start, I would. They're beyond terrible. They neglect and them refuse to talk on the phone apparently because they're afraid of being questioned or something. Do yourself a favor, if you don't want just to authorize them to collect money from your child's Self-Direction budget for doing NOTHING, do not use them.
I don't know if it was my care coordinator or the program but i had no help. Since I have 4 kids, no income, i thought i was going to get help with resources. All my care coordinator cared about was if i was making it to my appointment. Very disappointing
