I reached out and followed the process that was given to me. I am beyond grateful for the inspection that was done, and the follow up that was completed. I had originally reached out for a separate issue, and the kind and professional inspectors noted A TON of other stuff (weather stripping, carbon monoxide detectors) To have these now is such a huge relief it really puts tears in my eyes going into the winter knowing that my home is in great shape. Very nice staff. Explain the process and answer questions very well. Section 8 housing vouchers and more. Sometimes difficult to get ahold of. Not as efficient as you would expect.
EKAN helped our child go to summer camp. He really needed social interactions to grow socially with others. He has loved this experience and since new to our home it has helped us learn about resources in the community. Big thanks goes to Treecia at EKAN.
Rental Assistance Funds are halted because of the enormous need in Kansas. They were unable to help me avoid my impending homelessness on 02/05/23.
I tried calling and emailing them, and still have not received a call back from them, and at a time when I really need their help.
