What Parents Say
Eastern Hills Community Church Preschool receives consistently high praise from parents for its childcare program. Parents highlight professional educators, welcoming staff, and a supportive environment where children thrive and form friendships. The facility is noted as offering top-notch childcare within a contemporary, non-judgmental church community.
The strongest traits of this church: sermons. They are providing top-notch sermons that you don’t get to hear often in other churches. It’s very relatable, life-application focused, with a bit of head-tripping involved, which I enjoy a lot. A liberating experience, especially if you are a Christian. I could see why some people feel this church is focused on growth and some may feel conflicted about that, but I found many people naturally want to come after getting to know this church. Their sermon and worship are very professional. For some, it’s “too professional,” but what’s wrong with that? I found that’s something this church can offer. And it’s delivered by a pastor from South Africa who experienced the hood, not someone who has always been sitting on the high seat. It’s awesome. Their worship style is very contemporary, which I also prefer compared to conservative worship. Very relaxed and not snobby. You don’t need to dress up when you walk in here. And yes, their childcare is another top-notch. There’re many educators among SE Aurora residents and many of them volunteers here. I don’t know the personality of the congregation yet, but I highly recommend visiting here, especially if you are seeking a church in the neighborhood.
Hey there! I just had to share how absolutely wonderful E Hill Church is. Seriously, I'm overflowing with appreciation for that place! Their drive up food bank is so helpful to a lot of people. The folks who volunteer there? They're truly something special – incredibly kind, super helpful, and genuinely lovely people. Every single time I've interacted with them, they've gone above and beyond. Honestly, if anyone asks me about a great church community, E Hill Church is the first place I recommend. It’s such a welcoming and supportive environment, and I genuinely believe anyone would feel at home there. It's actually hard to put into words just how grateful I am for everything they do. On a personal note, they've been incredibly supportive and made such a positive difference for some of my family members too, who absolutely adore being a part of it all. It really speaks volumes about the amazing spirit they have.
I went to this church for years as a kid. The leadership was consistently focused on "building" and "expansion" rather than shepherding their flock. Just be wary. Their goal is to be another mega church. Understand what goes into that before you subscribe. If they never learn your name and pick your pocket for spare change every Sunday, chances are, they don't follow the one true Jesus Christ
Im not a religious church goer. But every time I go to Eastern hills God's message is what I needed to hear in that moment. I love this church because there is no pressure, like ever. You can come well dressed or in pj's and your welcomed all the same. In short I feel at home when I come to this church and will continue to come to this church as long as I am in Colorado.
My daughter invited me to go with her today. This church is very welcoming and loved today’s sermon on main character energy and the songs before the sermon. I felt like it was meant for me and felt like I belonged. I will definitely be going every Sunday going forward. Excited to grow my journey
