What Parents Say
Note: Reviews are primarily from college students and alumni, not parents reviewing childcare services. Reviewers praise Eastern Florida State College's affordability, quality instruction, campus facilities, and student support services. Most experiences were positive with minor complaints about older buildings and isolated staff issues.
Eastern Florida State sponsors a youth golf camp in the summer. It is a top-notch program for FREE. The entire staff and volunteers are THE BEST! Kids have an opportunity to learn about golf, respect, and other critical values that are needed for life skills. Thank you for the opportunity. The campus is also very clean, and landscaping is beautiful. The staff is extremely nice and helpful!
I haven't frequented many community colleges, so I don't know how this truly stacks up. It's clearly an older building, but it seems as though they do the best with what they have, and they seem to do that well. All professors I've met save for one were outstanding, with the exception having the best intentions I'm sure. The campus Cafe is surprisingly decent. Library is oddly empty but also large and available for study, computer access, and printing. The bookstore is small but has friendly staff and most essentials on offer. Student advisors have been helpful, again, save for one. No real complaints here.
📚Great Teachers📚 I learned so much during my time at EFSC. The classes feel small and specialized, with teachers that really do invest in the success of the students. Through the honor societies, clubs, and opportunities afforded, I was able to achieve my academic goals and graduate satisfied with my investment. The Cocoa campus is larger than the Titusville campus with more buildings and space. There's a three-story library, a TV station, and entire buildings dedicated to specific specializations, such as health science, veterinary nursing, or HVAC. From art classes and theater, to welding and phlebotomy, there's a bit of everything here. There are also frequent on-campus events to enjoy, including food vendors, live performances, and games.
I was told when I enrolled that we would be able to keep our titan e-mails for good, no end. Now after I have already signed up for MULTIPLE accounts with this e-mail address do I get an e-mail saying it would be permanently deleted. Way to keep your word.
(Alumni review) The EMT/ medic program here has some of the coolest instructors/adjuncts/professors....everyone there is really cool and super professional!
