We had a child there from age 10 months to 3.5 years old. The staff were great- especially the PT therapist! Fantastic, loving. And the facility was clean. The reason we were there was for early intervention for my child and the head of early intervention Jill made several comments to other staff doubting our child’s diagnosis and needs. I don’t think she knew at the time they all shared her remarks with us. We had to fight almost monthly to get the services we needed - services doctors and specialists assured were needed. It got very stressful and ugly at one point. Now, 10 years later our child still has OT issues- likely because we had lapses in services because of those comments and actions. I am hopeful this doesn’t occur for other families. And while I appreciate the comment below telling me I can reach out, I did try and report these issues and they went unheard and not responded to. I have doubts we would be heard now.
My son was enrolled at Easter Seals in Columbia Heights from 3 months until he was 2.5 (we left because we moved)....and we had the most fabulous experience from the first day till the last. This center is SO warm and welcoming....you can feel the love right when you enter. They are organized, great communicators, and have exceptional teachers in every classroom. My son ran in with a giant smile on his face every day and was still smiling when we picked him up. The hardest part about moving was leaving this center. We miss the teachers enormously and are extremely grateful for the time we were there. If you're looking for a great daycare that will help will take incredible care of your child and make sure they are learning/growing/thriving, look no further!!
My grandsons are in their program. I can’t say enough of the care they get and such incredible attention they receive. My 2 yo grandson has special needs and they have given him over and above care. I’m proud of his accomplishments because of the staff at Easter Seals!
Both our kids are going here for the last two years.This place is incredible. The staffs are very professional.Our kids get love,attention and support everyday at the daycare.we highly recommend this place.My kids will miss it.Thank you for your care.
Paid the $100 waitlist deposit in May. Was told I would hear back in august or early September. Never heard from them. Beware
