Field day growing up is a time where parents enjoy with their kids and staff to be and get more involved! But to learn that parents can not attend was not just disappointing but heart breaking. I work M-F 9-6pm I made sure I had this day off to experience this event with my child like my parents did with me. In the letter sent home it did not say parents can not attend, I also sent I note to the teacher and no response. I found out the morning of because I had to walk in the school and ask myself. Where do the working parents fit it. I even volunteer for pta and no call back. Called to check on status and I just get a run around.

I love that my son actually learned this yr and loves to read , this was his first yr here in east ward but im so happy he enjoyed school and loved his teacher and class mates its just sad he won't be joining this school next yr :( but im happy he got to go to this school and how every teacher and staff are involved with their students and want them to strive for success
