Back in 2018 a few days before Christmas they helped me with gifts for my kids. I didn't have much at all that year and I was so grateful for this place and these people. I still think about that day anytime I pass by here and will never forget how kind they were and how loved they made me feel that day
Eat lunch there Monday thru Thursday. And for the most part it is really good. Peanut butter and jelly are always my favorite.
I used to volunteer in the kitchen with the former cook and loved it. It's a great place to hang out and the food is good. Plus there's a church that meets on Sundays at 2pm here and they serve dinner afterwords at 3.
Having resided in multiple homes in Flint and worked among the volunteers, I can truly say it is just amazing what the team under Tanya's leadership has done and continues to do transforming lives and a hurting area into an oasis of care. Simply amazing.
