What Parents Say
Note: Reviews appear to be for a social services agency providing utility and food assistance, not a daycare center. Parents consistently praise the organization for compassionate, respectful service and going above and beyond to help struggling families without judgment.
Lady said that they helped people with gas cards to get back and forth to work but the lady that does it was not in and she told me I’m out of luck until she comes back! Wow crazy that they wanna see us fail when we get jobs and can not get to them! Thanks for all your rudeness on the phone and making me feel so low!
They help people with their electric bills, food pantries, and other needs they may have. They sometimes ask you to make an appointment but it's not always necessary. Walk ins don't usually have to wait that long.
They have discriminated against me more than once and my caseworker wrote 3 falsified reports on me from a false report her friend called and made on me I have all the documents to prove this and the post office will stand behind me on this. I went to her boss and nothing after I sent him certified copies in the mail and nothing was done then I tried to go to his boss and she wouldn't see me. Now when I need an extension on my hud voucher which I have never got before my caseworker called me and said Bill said if you haven't found a place by the time your voucher expires June 9th your off the program but I went over to hud yesterday and the housing secretary ask Bill about me getting an extension and he said when it gets closer to time if I need one it won't be a problem.
They have helped me with my heating bills for several years. Around Christmas it helps so much for me to get my taxes paid because of this heating help. God bless all who work and donate to them.
This agency very caringly takes care of requests from individuals needing help in various areas of home life, including, but not limited to, utility assistance and food pantry assistance. They do a phenomenal job, considering the small amount of staff.
