Absolutely love this daycare, my son has been going here for a couple months and he loves it. Very nice staff , not a lot of children & they also have LOTS of different things for kids to keep them busy. One thing i love the most is that they help school agers with homework. If your looking for a great small daycare that provides transportation to and from school a long with before and after care this is where you should be.

If you have a child who requires any level of additional support whether for behavioral, sensory, or developmental needs this daycare is not the right fit. The staff is either not trained or unwilling to accommodate children who don’t fit into a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. I wish they would have told me before hand because I did communicate well before enrolling that she have problems with speech. Communication is inconsistent at best, and when concerns are raised, they are met with delays, vague responses, or outright dismissal. Instead of working collaboratively with parents, the administration seems more concerned with following their own procedures than actually addressing individual needs. Children who need patience, flexibility, or specialized attention will not receive it here. If your child thrives in a structured, traditional setting with minimal need for individualized support, you may not encounter these issues. However, for any parent who expects a daycare to be adaptable, communicative, and understanding, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. I am sharing this review so other parents can make an informed decision and avoid the frustration and disappointment that I experienced.

Everyone is so welcoming and my kid loves to come to the after school program where he gets upset when I have to take him home. Mr. Phillip is great with the kids. And Ms. Anita and Ms. Brittany have made my first time daycare experience very easy!

The staff here is very invested in making sure my children stay safe. I have never had an issue with direct communication from any of the staff if there was a problem and problems have been taken care of very quickly. My children’s early education here has thrived. My oldest is a little hyper so it’s hard to get her to sit for one on one but Ms. Candace has come up with ways to keep her interested and she has come a long way. Both of my daughters have really benefited from the diverse group of children who are enrolled here. They have become very social and treat everyone equally. They see that everyone comes from different backgrounds but deep down everyone is the same and just wants to be accepted and have friends just like them. I never had to put my older children in daycare, but had no choice when these two came along. I put off looking for places until the last minute. I was not looking forward to having to do it as I had seen so many horror stories about daycare facilities. A friend of mine suggested Early Steps and I checked it out. Of course I was hesitant the first day l had to leave them there, but when I got there to pick them up they didn’t even realize I had left. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a staff who cares for your children as much as you do.

My son was here for 3 months, he is only (1) years old and has been deemed as “aggressive” by the Director, and has been the only child that faced corrective action but other children were able to still stay at the school when they did something to my son. How can a child that hasn’t reached their full comprehension levels be deemed as more or greater of an aggressor than other children based on touching them and pushing them? When other children have bitten, slapped or pushed my son - I do nothing because their children. This was a waste of time and overall, a bad experience. All children learn differently and we can’t control their communication skills but try to or attempt to redirect them. I will find a much better fit for me and my son’s sake. Everything started off fine until I receive incident reports one day with my son doing something and the next with someone doing something to him but he is being labeled as a threat at 1 years old.
