My children have been at the center for almost 5 years and we have had no incidents with staff or their ability to care for my children. I think that alone speaks volumes especially in today’s climate. We had the pleasure of coming to the center under the direction of Ms.Green and then Ms.Catherine. Both women provided exceptional support to my family and always approached us with a friendly and kind-hearted demeanor. When our children became school agers, the center was transparent and provided all details regarding school transportation as well as summer camp options . We are simply moving on because our children are older now and involved in other activities. We are grateful and thankful for the Christian based values that aided our kids during their time there. I would highly recommend this center to parents who are looking for childcare placement. Wishing all the best to the staff there!

This is such a great center!!! Only negative I have to say is that they’re not 24hrs(joking) but they are LITERALLY the best. My 4yr has never complained about anything. He’s always expressing how much he likes it and his teachers are his best friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

My children have been in this center for a year now. My aunt used to work there she referred me. Ms. Catherine seemed so nice and caring in the beginning. The disagreement came when it was time for my voucher renewal and she told me my voucher ended in the middle of month which was wrong she charged me out of pocket for a full time infant. My children are schoolagers. On the last day of voucher odjf calls me and renew voucher. I ask them why did she charge me if I was still active. They had no idea. I ask her. And show her my paper work that clearly said It would end on the 31. She then looks in the computer and says oh I made a mistake And I over charged you. So you’ll have a credit. I asked for my money back instead. She said she would refund. Never did. My aunt who helped me pay even went up there to ask her when will the refund be processed she told her a week never did. From that point on I just had a bad taste about her. Today she wanted the children to put on jackets to go outside and it’s 78 degrees. My daughter who is six. Cried and was upset and began kicking her chair. My daughter is in counseling and going to see a psychiatrist she’s also on meds to help her with her mood swings and emotions. She’s never had an incident before this day. Ms Catherine yanked her up and grabbed her face really tight. I didn’t know this until I came to pick her up today. Her face was puffy which I took pictures of. I asked Ms Catherine if she put her hands on my child she admitted and said I’m making excuses for my child. I told her that my child has a disability and is under doctors care and that gives her no right to put her hands on any child. I told her I was calling state. I began to walk out the door with my children she than followed me out the door with a infant in her hand which to me is child endangerment. Followed me out side to my care yelling at me not to return. Which I was going to do anyway. But the fact that someone’s infant little girl. African American. Looked to be no more than a year. In harms way. If I was a person that didn’t think and I attempted to attack that child would have gotten hurt. How is she working in child care. My children began to tell me how she was yelling and slammed a little girl in her chair. I have names of children. My children told me there names. I am reporting her. If I have to go all the way to 19 action news I will. She’s on camera chasing a parent that is walking away with an infant in her hand. Abusing children on a Daily. Pretending to be so nice and understanding and caring. Parents if you see this ask your children. Children don’t lie. Protect your child. I tried to contact owner before I call state. But no luck. If you know her number please help. My children will not be attending this center but I want to save others. As parents we go to work and trust these car givers with our precious babies. This is awful. I’m shocked, hurt, angry all of the above.

Early Steps is really lucky to have Mrs. Catherine. She truly goes above and beyond for parents and even though you can see her doing 20 things at once, she still manages to keep a smile on her face. Also, Early Steps is lucky to have Ms. Lisa the teacher for the toddler class. She seems to really enjoy the kids. I hope that Early Steps offer a raise or some type of incentive for the good workers in order to keep them there. These teachers are the faces of your business and I'm really upset that they lost Mrs Carmen and Ms Jasmine. Please do what you can in order to keep Catherine and Lisa there. A satisfied parent
