This place left a bad taste in my mouth, just from the phone calls & lack of knowledge; I didn't even have the chance of touring. I’m glad other parents found security and safety for their children here, I was hoping to as well. The woman on the phone was seemingly belittling. “The government assistance program is only for SINGLE working parents, or two full-time WORKING parents (she emphasized these words). You wouldn’t get approved if you’re able to stay at home with your child.” Simply not true, nor did I ask about the government assistance program in the first place; once she had told me about it, I asked if she knows whether we can still apply with just my Husband’s income as I am currently not working, but looking for part-time work. & “Our hours are 6 to 6, but we would have to see your work schedule to decide when your child can be picked up and dropped off.” After asking for further clarification, why this would be necessary, she kept her condescending tone with, "You cannot leave your child here for 12 hours, the cap is 10." I understand this & I obviously would never want to leave my child for that long anywhere. Why do you think I’ve chosen to live off of one income in order to stay with my child, in the first place? I don’t think it’s normal for a daycare to ask for your work schedule to deem—for you—when it’s necessary for your child to be taken care of. I'm sure other parents aren't being treated this way! If we are paying for full-time services, and there are no option for part-time services, then we as parents should decide how to use those 8-10 hours. & “The entire point of childcare is for the working class … and to teach them.” Wow. This is not correct, nor was the attitude I encountered pleasing in any sense. I expected my first phone call with my first day care inquiry to be warm, understanding and welcoming; especially because I hate having to put my daughter in day care, in the first place. I left the call feeling belittled, misunderstood and judged. Not that I owe it to anyone to explain, but I have been a full-time college student & stay-at-home mom. Now that it is required to attend in-person at University for my medical degree I was hoping to find a childcare center that could provide a safe & fun environment, busy schedule, socialization, and structured learning for my 16-mo daughter. From a simple google search, my Husband and I will be approved for government assistance, because he works full-time and makes below, and I am a full-time college student. I don’t appreciate the ignorant & demeaning presumptions this woman made about our life, from me simply asking a couple of questions about the daycare. Disgusting first impression; I can choose to put my daughter in childcare, even if I was home all day doing nothing.
Since day one this ENTIRE staff has been AMAZING!!!! Seriously, like a second family. Any concerns, problems, personal issues, anything you can possibly think of, they have been so professional about it. They are super duper concerned about all their children. I love the fact that they do so many activities with the kiddos. They have really prepared my little guy for kindergarten. From one busy mom to the other, they are so worth it, and very helpful and trustworthy. Thank you ECA family for going above and beyond for my little dude, we will forever remember everything. 😘😘😘
I am so happy to have my daughter (2 years old) in this daycare, I think they take their job pretty serious and I’m more than happy with that
