Colleen is an amazing teacher and her school is so special! I trust her with my son completely and he has the best time at school. If you’re looking for a fantastic play based, child led, outdoor experience for your little one, I highly recommend this school.
Loving and experiencing the earth is so important to us and finding Colleen at Eagle Creek Explorers has been amazing! My two small humans and I had just moved to the area after a divorce and finding a good fit was important for me as we transitioned as a family to a new-to-us kind of life. My smallest human had just turned four and was a kid that liked going outside but would rather be playing with dolls, Barbies, and all things 'lady-like.' and outdoor preschool would probs not be in her top three ways to spend her time. However, she has now been going four full days a week since January and has not once complained about going or how her day went. She is learning inside of the classroom with her friends, is benefiting from nature and outdoorsy experiences and curriculum outdside with her friends every single day. She is dirty and loving it. Colleen is a caring, compassionate, and kind teacher. She is patient and does everything in her power to build relationships, foster community, and to bring fun education to these babes. 10 out of 5 would recommend.
