Friendly. Delicious mofongos! 2 chicken or pork for $10! Sodas $1.25. Cash only. The plantains were extraordinary. All made to order, so please expect a wait or order ahead.
Nice little shack on the road. I ate an Alcapurria wich was just made for the customer, an octopus salad, and a cheese and chorizo patti. Everything was just delicious. Customer service was just fabolous. Prices super affordable and reasonable.
The woman running the stand was very nice! We had 2 bacalaitos, 1 alcapuria and a drink and it was very affordable! She gave us the food and we sat down to eat first, then paid her on the way out. She was very friendly and willing to make anything she didn't already have prepared if we wanted it. Food was delicious! Casual open air seating consisted of 3 picnic tables to sit and eat plus the main "counter" with the prepared pieces and food prep area. Great choice for classic fritura.
I could say that it was one of the best places where I tried the gastronomy of Puerto Rico and we are going to add the love and hospitality of its workers. It was a short but pleasant experience.
They have great Frituras of all types. Would recommend the relleno de papa. The best I’ve eaten anywhere including NY and CT.
