Being a first time mom I was so nervous about sending my baby to daycare especially between 4-5months old. This daycare has been nothing short of amazing. My son absolutely adores Ms. T’Nasia, Ms.Anna and Ms.Keane in the infant room. My son is always smiling, I’m constantly updated and reassured on how he is doing throughout the day which makes coming off maternity leave such an easy transition. They truly care about the babies/children and are always keeping them active and playing. I’m so grateful that I chose this daycare. Walking in the doors you feel like family, everyone from teachers to directors are there to welcome you with open arms!! We love discovery years Vernon!
My boys have been at Discovery Years since 5 months old and they are now 4 1/2 and 2 1/2. All the teachers in each classroom have been amazing and I have truly felt comfortable and at peace leaving them when I have to go to work. It wasn’t easy with my first, but when I had my second, although still not easy, I was confident in the hands I was leaving him in. The teachers have always been so kind to me and what impresses me is their attention to detail and when they know something is up with my boys, usually right before they get sick, hit a milestone, teething. The day my oldest has to leave for kindergarten will be a sad day! Big shout out to Ms. Christine, Ms. Alyson, Ms. Emily, Ms. Jenna, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Katie!
When we first moved here last year we had a hard time trusting a day care but the staff showed me that I can. The way my children loved them it’s amazing to watch. And the director Angela she’s the sweetest nicest person you can have. You can see she loves every students in the day care. You don’t need a strict day care, you need a day care thats caring patient and understand your child. I don’t think i can never find a better day care than this one. If you need a day care that’s going to be a village to you I suggest this one you won’t be disappointed thank u discovery year for welcoming us with open arms
When they say that it takes a village to raise a child, they’re not kidding. Unfortunately for my husband and me, we don’t have a village easily accessible. As such, we knew that we needed help. I’m so glad we decided to go with Discovery Years. Ms. T’Nasia and Mrs. Anna in the infant room have been the extensions of my husband and myself that we absolutely needed. They are sweet and compassionate but are also firm when needed. They give me such peace of mind that my son is safe, taken care of, and happy. There are horror stories of kids being dropped off and absolutely hating daycare. That is not the case for my family. My son genuinely loves going to school and seeing his teachers (I think he finds being home boring in comparison!). Moreover, I love the sense of community that being part of Discovery Years brings. They have so many events, and the fact that it is in the middle of Vernon means that my son, and through him — my husband and myself, are plugged into our community. Discovery Years is the village that my family needs and I could not be happier with my village.
Our daughter attends PreK 3 at Discovery Years and she has learned so much already! She absolutely loves going to school everyday. All the teachers, administration, and staff are so welcoming and kind. Could not have found a better school to send our daughter.
