Our son started at Discovery House when he was 4½ and I wish I would have started him there sooner! Kathy is absolutely wonderful, and so are her teachers. She had such a big heart and cares about every kid that goes there. We started our son their after an unfortunate situation at an in-home daycare and Kathy stuck by his side through all his behavioral issues that we believed might have steamed from that. If you are looking for a daycare or preschool, or even before and aftercare, bring your child here! You won't regret it.
If you are looking for a perfect setting for your child I highly recommend Discovery House Day Care. My daughter went there since she was 18 months old. They potty trained her, she learned social skills at an early age, and she was prepped from the first day she started to get ready for kindergarten. Kathy the director became like family to her. My daughter is now older and is not in Daycare, but Kathy still calls to check up on her and see what’s new and exciting in her life. I couldn’t have asked for a better and safer place to take my daughter every day!!
The staff at Discovery House are second to none, starting with the owner Kathy. Her energy and passion for child care is evident in all aspects of the center. The majority of her staff have been there for years and they have the same professionalism and dedication as Kathy. Our child is learning and thriving in their care. She comes home every day smiling and telling us about what she learned and who she interacted with. This place is truly a gem.
I recently enrolled my daughter and she loves it. They staff is friendly and really takes care of the kids. They provide educational structure that will prepare your child for kindergarten. They also really helped with potty training. I am extremely pleased with the daycare. My daughter is happy and has had an easy quick adjustment with lot's of support from the teacher's after transitioning from home day care. All the teacher's always have a smile and greet you whether or not they are your child's teacher. I highly recommend. Great Day Care!
There is no place like Discovery House! If you are looking for a loving, supportive, and encouraging environment for your child then this is the place to be. The class sizes are small. The teachers go above and beyond for each child in their class. As a parent, I couldn’t image taking my children anywhere else. Discovery House becomes a part of your family!
