My child has grown up here from the age of one. She has loved making long lasting friendships and her teachers have gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. I would recommend Discovery Cottage to anyone who needs a family environment.
The owner is neurotic. She is not pleasant or professional in any way. She will cuss right in front of your children. She is a yeller. To put it kindly. She will make you bring meals and snacks and keep what they don’t eat, if it’s even offered to the child. She has MRDD staffing. I’m sure to cut down on payroll. Unless your child can speak and tell you what they’re seeing, I wouldn’t advise you to take them to this place. Maybe not even then.
