Super organized and clean. Very spacious, yet still has dozens of activities. The variety of activities allows any age to enjoy. The staff are kind, organized, and run events smoothly. It incorporates lots of science as well, and even I as an adult learned something. It also has a beautiful view of the estuary!
The Discovery Center at Waters edge is a STEM oasis for kids! Designed and crested by veteran STEM APG professionals, it offers children a wide range of engaging, hands on resources. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable! The center itself is a very clean, well maintained environment that encourages creative, explorative, curiosity driven, fun, learning! I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is for kids! It’s geared toward school aged children. That said, my 3 year old grandson absolutely loved some of the exhibit/building/robotics areas! I look forward to taking him again!
Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem! We visited for the first time today and it was amazing! My son had a wonderful time. The staff members were super friendly and helpful. There was lots of science and learning activities. My son loved the interactive sand table and the VR the best. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t crowded at all! We will definitely be back.
Great small place. Was not crowded at all. It may be small but don't let that fool you! Amazing friendly staff, and lots to keep the mind and imagination busy. My 3 kids spent about 4 hours here and we're not bored. They were sad to go.
Hidden gem for Harford County! My family visited on a Saturday where we were the only ones there for about an hour or two. There were lots of hands-on STEM activities for children and adults! They have a wind machine, color-changing/motion-sensored sand table, arts & crafts, Legos, large building blocks, magnetic puzzles, coding games and much more! Very affordable and a non-profit facility looking to expand. Please support and keep these places going :)
