Parents report that children of various ages enjoy the space and stay engaged. One reviewer noted issues with seasonal staff behavior, though this was presented as an isolated concern.
Great place for children of all ages! We have a 2 year old who enjoys the backyard, a 11 year old, and 2 grand daughters both 8 and 9. They all get very excited when go visit The DLCCC. Kids get to run and play until their hearts are content. Not one of our children complain of being bored.
We had my grandsons birthday party here. It was a great experience. The children had lots of energy burning activities to keep them busy, and the room we had was plenty big enough for the party, cake, and gifts. I'd recommend giving it a try for your next event.
Very clean, many things to do, but very pricey. My family and I have a membership and it's quite expensive. Staff can also be rude at some times. They lay the rules down very well and they have many exercise machines. Swim area is very big and the backyard is very clean and spacious.
We went there to look for the magic mirror sculpture by Thomas Dambo which was great. Unfortunately the building was closed on Sunday so we couldn't check it out.
We are frequent visitors to this facility, primarily because it's our only local option without driving to Fargo. However, almost every visit leaves us disappointed and frustrated due to issues with the staff and their operations. The most consistent issue is the inaccurate pool hours. We always call ahead to confirm, and are frequently told one time (e.g., 7:00 PM), only to arrive and be told the pool is closing earlier (e.g., 5:00 PM). This lack of consistency is extremely frustrating, especially when planning an outing. Additionally, the lifeguard staff is consistently non-attentive and unprofessional. On a recent visit, they began turning off the water sprinklers for the kids around 4:20 PM, well before the supposed closing time at 5, indicating a rush to close. Their general lack of attentiveness is a concern for safety and overall experience.
