we went on a free day as is usual. ive been before and it really is worth coming theres is soooo much more than one would think. there is a lot to do and to really get it all you need two days. theres a japanese garden, a indoor garden and currently displaying an orchid collection. theres also another building with seedlings and a library. its extensive. i would reccommend going during spring with everything in bloom.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Urban Oasis - Stunning Architecture and Vibrant Gardens! The Denver Botanic Gardens is an absolute must-visit! My recent trip was fantastic, and I was especially impressed by the way the Gardens blend natural beauty with thoughtful, modern design. The Science Pyramid is a major highlight—the hexagonal, honeycomb exterior is a striking piece of architecture (as seen in the photos!) that beautifully introduces the concepts of biomimicry and conservation science. It's truly eye-catching and creates a wonderful focal point for the campus. Beyond the architecture, the gardens themselves are a vibrant escape. From the rich green textures of the tropical conservatory (like the beautiful palms and ferns in the images) to the colorful outdoor beds, everything is meticulously maintained. The variety is outstanding, making it easy to spend hours wandering through different biomes. Whether you're a serious botanist or just looking for a peaceful, beautiful afternoon, this place delivers. Don't miss the chance to explore the different water features and the varied foliage! Highly recommend it.

You guys are very lucky to have Brandon, the shop has the best scarfs in town and I needed one for a first date. He was so professional and escorted me through a winter event line to help me out. One staff member was acting more serious than when I had to valet with Secret Service. I’ll chalk it up to wanting to protect her awesome job. I got the back door pass so I can walk in and out seamlessly, using the garden at least once a week as a bonus level to my Cheesman walk. It’s an incredible place to pop a few edibles, listen to music, and reflect on the week. I realized even in winter with nothing alive the air is so much better in the Garden because it’s not covered in dog urine like the park. It’s so nice to lay on clean grass. I work real estate and landscape so I got to know which plants are best for my projects depending on time of year and push concrete finishers to achieve similar quality hardscape. Don’t miss the hidden garden to the far left when you first walk through the shop entrance. It has some of the most unique flowers and a couple very very rare irises. When they are bloomed, consider walking through the neighborhoods towards 7th. A lot have taken great inspiration and the garden basically becomes 10x bigger during mid spring. Maybe hit Copper Door Coffee first for an actually spicy chai and say hi to the awesome team over there. Got stood up on the date sadly, she wasn’t for the gardens

Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Gardens was nothing short of breathtaking. We visited on an exceptionally cold night, the kind of cold that usually makes you reconsider going out—but the moment we stepped inside the gardens, the entire experience pulled us in. The lighting displays were stunning. Every pathway, tree, and structure was transformed with vibrant colors and thoughtful design. The installations felt immersive and artistic, creating a sense of wonder at every turn. Even in the freezing temperatures, we found ourselves slowing down to appreciate the details, taking photos, and simply enjoying the atmosphere. What stood out most was how engaging the entire experience felt. The gardens managed to balance beauty, creativity, and warmth—even on a cold night—making it easy to forget the weather and enjoy the moment. The event flowed smoothly, never feeling rushed or overcrowded, and the staff helped maintain a welcoming, festive environment. Overall, Blossoms of Light was absolutely worth it. It exceeded expectations, offered a memorable seasonal experience, and is something we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone spending the holidays in Denver.

A beautiful botanical garden with both indoor and outdoor exhibits. This well-maintained facility is truly beautiful. The indoor greenhouses, outdoor walking paths, water features, exhibits, cafes and gift shop make for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend going and supporting this community treasure.
